Accelerated Success!
(an amazing 2-hour seminar and networking event for actors
who are ready for their careers to take a quantum leap!)
Over One Million Google References and 275+ IMDB Credits!
Ranked in Upper 2% of Entertainment Industry Professionals Worldwide (IMDB STARmeter)
Donald F. Glut Confirmed! John Carpenter's quote is: "I wanted to be like Don Glut. He was the King!"
While in his early teens, Chicago native Donald F. Glut made amateur movies. These movies were so good that they caught the attention of a number of people in the industry. They played in motion picture theaters and they aired on television. And, of course, they inspired many people to enter the film business - including the legendary John Carpenter!
Don went on to become internationally-known as a writer. He wrote many, many stories for Marvel Comics (and many others). This New York Times #1 Best-Selling Author also wrote, for example, "The Empire Strikes Back" novel, "Dinosaurs: The Encyclopedia," and hundreds of additional stories, books, and articles. On November 25, 2011 we did a Google search and found over one million references (796,000 for "Donald F. Glut" and another 212,000 for "Don Glut.")
After achieving world-wide success as a writer, Don decided to embrace his passion for producing and directing. No more amateur movies; it was time to go pro. Along with two partners, Don formed Frontline Entertainment of which he is President. At least 18 completed projects have come from Frontline so far including "Dinosaur Valley Girls" starring Karen Black, the project The Hollywood Reporter named "News Item of the Week." Don has hired dozens of actors whom he met at seminar events for his projects - including a starring role in a SAG film for an actor who had never done a starring role prior and who, at that time, had no union affiliation. Don is our confirmed guest speaker for Monday afternoon's special seminar event. He will soon be lookiing for talent for his next film project, and you are encouraged to bring your photo and resume for him (and for the additional producer and casting director speakers).
Like the vast majority of producers, Don hires people he knows. He can't hire you if he doesn't know you exist. So, you have two ways to now be brought to the attention of Mr. Donald F. Glut: (1) By far the best way, if at all possible, is to attend the seminar at 12:00 noon on Monday, say "Hello" to Don, and to hand him your photo and resume -- or -- (2) if you absolutely cannot be there Monday to meet this extraordinarily well-connected personality, at least mail your photo and resume to him. More information in available here: www.HollywoodSuccess.com/special_event.htm
Confirmed! Our second official speaker for Monday's noon-time event is producer, director, casting director, writer, and publicist Bill Hooey. Bill has produced nearly 200 commercials and infomercials. He owns a casting company that casts for film, television, commercials and print work. He began his career as a radio personality and has worked in most of the major markets including Los Angeles. He has made over 100 television appearances. He wrote for "The Tonight Show," "The Smothers Brothers" show, and for major commedians. He has taken on "City Hall" twice and won; and he's about to do it for a third time. He was the official cameraman for Lee Strasberg and lived at the Strasberg Estate until after Lee's death. He specializes in PR for World Premiere Movie Events. A very funny guy, Bill will entertain you while giving you valuable information that can speed up your success in the film and television industry. He is quite successful and very well connected.
Confirmed! Also speaking Sunday afternoon is APS Entertainment President Rock Riddle. Your Master of Ceremonies for the seminar event, Rock has over a quarter of a century and well over 135,000 hours' professional experience in the film and television industry. His background includes: Publicist and President of APS Entertainment, of course, as well as SAG Franchised Talent Agent and Agency Co-Owner, Personal Manager, Producer, Casting Director, Stunt Person, Talk Show Host, Film and Television Actor, and Amazon.com #1 Best-Selling Author ("How to Become a Magnet to Hollywood Success") - not to mention his legend status as the original "Mr. Wonderful" of professional wrestling.
His greatest talents include (1) his mastery in the marketing of entertainment industry professionals and (2) his amazing ability to motivate, inspire, and teach actors how to achieve and go beyond their dreams. On April 21, 2007, Rock was presented with the prestigious Reel Honoree Award, an award which is presented once a year to an individual who has made a difference in the entertainment industry. Past recipients of this award include Sylvester Stallone, Charles Bronson, James Cagney, David Carradine, Robert Conrad, Kirk Douglas, Cesar Romero, Mickey Rooney and others. Rock has dedicated the majority of his life to helping people achieve and live their dreams in the entertainment industry, and he is very proud of this honor.
PARKING: Please plan on arriving a few minutes early to find parking. Parking is usually available one block east on Cole.
THIS IS NOT ANOTHER "ACTOR SEMINAR." It is a unique experience that is motivating, inspiring, hard-hitting, blatantly and brutally honest, eye-opening, practical, useful, and extraordinarily valuable. It is crammed full of usable information that, when applied, can quickly accelerate your success in the film and television business! Hundreds of actors who attended past events sent thank-you cards and/or praised the events in writing. Over fifty actor attendees were actually hired for film and/or television projects as a result of meeting producers at these events - including a starring role for an actor in a SAG feature film (and that actor had no SAG card at the time and had never done a previous starring role). Please join us Sunday for an event that can potentially change your entire professional life! - And please invite a deserving actor friend . . .
